Operations Associate Role

Learn the ropes of supply chain logistics for a growing company at Fresh Prints, a NYC based custom apparel startup. They find talented students, train and support them to start ventures within their schools.

The Operations Team is the backbone of the company, responsible for getting products to customers. In the last year alone they managed over 30,000 orders and contributed to $31M in revenue.

Key challenges include managing campaigns worth millions with domestic and international vendors, reducing costs, increasing margins and getting orders out fast.

As an Operations Associate you will be working closely with Operations Managers from Preorder or Order Teams. Daily tasks will involve solving unique logistical problems independently with a lot of decision making.

Responsibilities of the Role

Order Team: Manage Stock Issue Tickets, Licensing Tickets and other miscellaneous tasks. Be a backup for the Order Processing team during low OS pool volume. Manage Sample Order processing, Printer Capacity Management System (PCMS) ratings update, adhoc tasks during slow seasons and reporting tasks/projects.

Pre-Order Team: Provide pricing quotes using available resources, facilitate communication with other teams, resolve order issues and enhance licensing experience. Monitor timelines and address licensing related queries from Campus Managers. Check Shopify/Group orders, assign schools upon direct client proof submission, upload proofs to licensing portals for single use licenses.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of Operations/Logistics experience or equivalent, freshers also considered.
  • Analytical and organized.
  • Can handle complex tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Can make independent decisions.
  • English speaking with good communication skills.
